"I think it's time for a makeover"
The Monkeyhouse started out as a experimental project 4 weeks ago to test the demand for another local political blog.
The Monkeyhouse appears to have taken the local blog scene by storm with the number of hits growing on a daily basis.
At the current rate of growth The Monkey predicts that The Monkeyhouse will become South Tyneside’s premier blog within 6 months. The prospect of going from bottom to top spot in record time has set The Monkey’s juices flowing!
With an ever increasing following The Monkey has decided to continue with the monkey project for the foreseeable future and is now busy working on a fresh new look to reflect the sites growing popularity.
The Monkeyhouse has become ’affectionatley’ known locally as The Monkey or Mr Monkey and apparently very few bloggers now refer to the site by it’s full name. To reflect this The Monkey has included a new logo/header and changed the name of the blog to Mr Monkey – now there’s a clue to The Monkey’s identity if ever I saw one!
Other changes will follow over the next few weeks, but don’t worry, Mr Monkey is here to stay and promises to pack even bigger punch .. yes you ain’t seen nothing yet folks!
